Caleb’s Crossings will be built on the campus of Ralph Askins School where Caleb attended kindergarten and began first grade. Caleb learned, laughed, and grew at RAS. He also spread joy and inspiration to its faculty, staff and students.
Caleb’s Crossings will be an educational play area. It will include a colorful, child-friendly rubber surface that drains quickly, making it available for play after rain. It will include a large United States map, numbers, the alphabet, hopscotch and four square game poured into the surface. The majority of the space will be open allowing room to play with balls, hula hoops and jump ropes. There will be a few pieces of equipment including a funnel ball game, a free standing tic tac toe game, and a low curved balance beam.
